What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is created through a heightened state of suggestibility. It is actually an ordinary human experience we all have. Whether you get lost daydreaming about a new lover, escape into music, feel at one with a movie or book, or arrive at your destination after driving and don't remember how you got there -  you've experienced a light, natural, normal state of hypnosis. You are neither asleep or in wakefulness. We can look at it as an altered state of consciousness.

How does hypnosis work?

Through hypnosis, we can bypass the critical factor of the conscious mind, which gives us direct access to the subconscious mind. With this openness and receptiveness, the subconscious mind accepts the planting of seeds through positive suggestions  - ultimately altering your minds programming. This expansiveness in your mind creates new pathways to becoming the best version of you and allows transformation to take place.

What can i expect?

In the cognitive portion, we will discuss your thoughts, feelings and what you would like to achieve through hypnotherapy. During the hypnosis portion of the hypnotherapy session, you are physically and mentally relaxed. You are alert and in control while concentrating on my voice. You will hear everything I say. I cannot make you say or do anything you do not want to do. I have the tools and professional experience to guide you in the direction you would like to move towards. Everyone has the ability to be hypnotized, as long as they want to be. This is a beautiful process of co-creation and team work. The best part is that when the session is complete, you will have a refreshed and wonderful sense of well being.

How many sessions will i need?

We are all such unique individuals with our own personal stories. Together, we will create an action plan of what best fits your specific path of healing. I do strongly recommend committing yourself to a package so you can hold yourself accountable to dive deeper and transform. I often ask my clients if they would only go to the gym one time to kickstart their health journey. Dedication is truly needed to see successful results show up in your reality.
